In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Cary; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Clean dining area, efficient and fast service; the rice noodles were delicious—we practically cleaned our plates—and the beef tripe was excellent too. A fantastic Chinese restaurant 👍

Food was good! I really liked their cucumbers and popcorn chicken. The braised pork belly noodles were good too--noodles had a good firmness. The fried milk was interesting...

The food was all delicious, but the boba is more of the instant gelatinous boba than the traditional cooked boba. We were not a fan of that, the fried tofu and the fried milk. But, everything else was delightful. Highly recommend the noodles, braided pork rice, popcorn chicken, and the fried mantou (bread). Will definitely be back.

I met my son at this restaurant on August 11, 2025 as part of my birthday week celebration. We visited this restaurant in the evening time so there were not a lot of customers at that time. We were greeted with professionalism and seated right away. There were several items ordered from the menu. Our server was very helpful in answering our questions when we were deciding on what to order. She provided some useful insights. All items ordered came out within a short period of time. They did an awesome job with their delivery of the food and drinks. We started with some drinks. The cold mango lemon tea was uniquely refreshing. It was a creative blend of flavors in my mouth. I enjoyed it very much. I had the Edamame which was good but needed a little bit more salt. The popcorn chicken had an interesting flavor. It was nice and crispy and tasted like it had a little bit of a cinnamon or aromatic flavor to it. The green pepper fish dish was an acquired taste for me. It was very aromatic and had a unique earthy hearty flavor with a kick of spice to it. The more I ate, the more it grew on me. I enjoyed the Fried Mini Milk Bun. The texture and flavor reminded me of the Caribbean Journe

We had dinner there yesterday. Really nice spot — clean, calm, and cozy. The staff was super friendly and polite, and the food came out pretty quick, like 5–7 minutes after we ordered. They’ve got a pretty big menu too. My wife got noodles with mixed meats, I went with noodles in tomato sauce with chicken on top. Everything was really good — we both enjoyed it a lot. Definitely planning to come back.
